LOL dolls lovers are in for a mega treat. There’s a NEW subscription box and it’s called LOL Surprise! Box! Subscription boxes have been an ecommerce and fan staple for awhile now and we’re excited that the LOL Surprise world is “thinking outside the toy box” and putting a unique toy together for fans.
Here are 5 things you need to know before you buy.
1. One LOL Surprise Box will be sent to your little one every 3 months.
Parents…remember those days when you were a kid and you got something in the mail? Well your little one can get that same excitement with the LOL Surprise Box.
Every 3 months, an adorable LOL themed box will be delivered to your home for your little one to open. Each box will have a different theme, so expect a different box each time. The box itself is so cute that we recommend keeping it and using it for LOL storage.
2. Each box will have 6 to 8 LOL goodies.
Each box has exclusive LOL doll products that have been custom made for the box. You won’t be able to find these anywhere else!
Here’s what may be inside the LOL Surprise Box:
- apparel
- accessories
- toys
- homewares
- stationery
AND every box comes with a randomly selected LOL Surprise tots doll, lil sister, or pet from an existing series.
3. The box is produced by the same people who make other cool boxes.
MGA Entertainment, the makers of LOL dolls, worked with a company called CultureFly to create the LOL Surprise Box.
Why is this important?
Because these guys make some really cool boxes filled with great stuff.
Ever heard of Pusheen? Here’s the Pusheen Box made by CultureFly:
Love Game of Thrones? Here’s what was in the first box from CultureFly:
In other words, you should expect the same types of interesting and well-made items to pop up in the LOL Surprise Box.
4. The first box was a “Retro Club” theme.
Each seasonal box will have a different theme. While the first box was themed around a club, they may not all be. Leave it to LOL to keep your little one of her toes!
Don’t remember the Retro Club?
It debuted in Series 2. These cuties are throwbacks to older styles of dressing or pop culture. Series 2 Retro Club dolls were straight out of the 1950s with their styles. Series 3 Retro Club dolls were inspired by the 1960s and 1970s. The 1970s kept going and blended into the 1980s for the Series 4 Under Wraps Eye Spy Retro Club. The last member of the Retro Club to come out in Series 5 Makeover Series has been Miss Jive (with that phenomenal hair!).
Here are all the tots dolls in the Retro Club that may have popped up in some way in the LOL Surprise Box:
- Jitterbug (Series 2)
- Cherry (Series 2)
- Pink Baby (Series 2)
- B.B. Bop (Series 2)
- Go-go Gurl (Series 3 Confetti Pop)
- Foxy (Series 3 Confetti Pop)
- Beatnik Babe (Series 3 Confetti Pop)
- Soul Babe (Series 4 Under Wraps Eye Spy)
- Boogie Babe (Series 4 Under Wraps Eye Spy)
- Miss Jive (Series 5 Makeover Series)
The next theme is WINTER DISCO!
