LOL Surprise Glitter Series dolls were once super hard to find. Recently, they have been popping up in stores again. The Glitter Series is a special, limited edition. Many of the dolls you loved in Series 1 are back with extra glittery hair, new outfits, and all new accessories. 1. The surprise ball packaging is white.
While the packaging is white, the ball inside is gold. The doll featured on the front is Queen Bee from the Glitter Series.
2. Don’t confuse legitimate Glitter Series balls with the perhaps fake Surprise series balls.
The LOL Surprise Glitter Series balls are white, just like the balls from the LOL Big Surprise. The difference is that there is a question mark over the doll on the Big Surprise ball.
Big Surprise balls are from inside the LOL Big Surprise balls. Some disreputable sellers take an LOL Big Surprise ball, split up the contents, and sell the parts at a ridiculous markup. Other counterfeit the surprise balls completely. Since many people don’t know the difference, they are able to make a tidy profit while tricking you.
Make sure the doll on the package is Queen Bee and you should be ok.
3. There are only 12 dolls in the series.
Some of the most popular dolls from Series 1 were brought back with glitter and new outfits in Glitter series.

4. Glitter Series outfits are different from the same doll in Series 1.
Since the same dolls are being relaunched, you might think that the Glitter series isn’t worth buying. It definitely is!
The same cuties get different outfits (and glitter hair) this time around.
For example, in Series 1, Queen Bee wore a gold and black striped dress. In LOL Surprise Glitter Series, she wears a long sleeve one shoulder bodysuit with a gold belt.
5. There are no lil sisters for this series.
Although lils are part of every other series, there are no lil sisters in this series.
6. All dolls are fabulous, rare, or ultra-rare.
The Glitter Series was initially launched as limited edition, so the rarity of the dolls makes sense. If you see a Glitter Series ball, buy it!

7. These dolls actually have glitter on them.
The Glitter Series dolls do have glitter adhered to their hair and accessories. Glitter was not secured properly to the first manufactured runs of the dolls, so it was common for the glitter to come off.
The most recently manufactured LOL Surprise Glitter Series do not have that problem. If you buy Glitter Series dolls today, they are unlikely to leave glitter all over everything.
8. Glitter Series dolls have 7 surprises.
Like dolls in other series, the unboxing of a glitter series doll includes the 7 layers of surprises:
- Secret message sticker
- Water surprise sticker
- Bottle
- Shoes
- Outfit
- Accessory
- Doll
9. Each doll has 1 of 4 water surprises.
The LOL Surprise Glitter Series collector poster lets us know which water surprise your little one’s doll with have. Each doll with either cry, spit, tinkle, or color change.
Even if 2 surprises are listed on the poster, the doll will only do 1. That means, if you get 2 different Miss Baby Glitters, one may tinkle and the other may spit.
