1. What is LOL Color Change?
LOL Surprise Color Change is a LOL Surprise! toy released by LOL doll maker MGA Entertainment. All of the dolls in the series color change.
The ball also color changes!
To make the dolls and ball color change you need to use ICE WATER and warm/ALMOST HOT water. Lukewarm or tepid water won’t do it. Make sure there are ice cubes in the water and let it sit there for a couple of minutes to get really cold. For the warm water, think bath water temperature.
2. The LOL Color Change ball package is red-pink.
Thank goodness this series is easy to identify. It’s virtually impossible to NOT know that you’ve gotten a color change LOL dolls because the letters are so obvious on the packaging.
3. The ball features Surfer Babe.
The ball for this series features Surfer Babe, the blond cutie shown above. She wears a cool blue, green, and pink long sleeve rash guard one piece.
Why is this important?
If your little one is hoping to get a certain doll, your only chance is to buy the correct series. Knowing which dolls are on which products also helps you avoid FAKE LOL doll toys that will have a similar look with different dolls.

6. Dolls color change but it’s safe!
The makers of LOL dolls have learned from the recent controversy about color changing. These latest LOL dolls have color change hair and accessories. No more fishnet stockings and bikinis!
7. There are no boys in this series…
If your little one doesn’t know about the differences between boys and girls yet, then this series is for you. There are no boys in the series, so there will be no surprises during the unboxing.
8. There are LOL Color Change Lil Sisters!
Lil Sisters come in a red-pink ball with a similar theme. These cuties have hair, faces, and bodies that color change. Their balls color change too!

Just like in previous series, the lil sisters balls contain 5 surprises and all little sisters color change. Unlike previous series, there is no water surprise sticker, ring tattoo, or bottle included in lil sister dolls.
