LOL Bling Series is out just in time for the holiday season! What is the LOL Bling Series you ask? It’s a new, limited edition festive themed LOL Surprise series, similar to Glitter series and Glam Glitter series. The “bling” comes from the tinsel style glitter applied to the dolls’ hair, eyes, and outfits.

1. It’s an ornament!
We thought we’d start with the best part first…the balls and dolls are ornaments! Imagine having a beautiful tree with some LOL doll balls hanging off of it…
Your little one can certainly imagine!
Bling Series balls have a string on top that allow them to be hung like an ornament on a Christmas tree. The balls look beautiful before they are “unboxed” so they are the perfect alternative to a stocking stuffer. If your little one has already unboxed them, they can be rehung since the string is actually attached to the ball and not the paper.
However…
If you want the balls to be hung on the tree as part of your little one’s Christmas present, don’t hang it until December 24th. The anticipation of the hanging LOL ball may be too much for your little one to handle. Buy it now and hide it away until Christmas Eve.
2. The surprise ball packaging is silver.
With the Christmas ornament idea in mind, the LOL Bling Series ball packaging is this beautiful glittery silver.
If you see balls that have Bling Series written on them but aren’t silver, they are fakes. Be very careful as you’re shopping this holiday season because there will be lots of counterfeit products around.
3. The ball features Dollface.
This cutie from Series 2 is shown on the ball. If you see any other doll, it’s a fake. There is unlikely to be a series, so this doll should be on all the balls.
4. A bunch of Series 2 favorites are coming back!
So why is Dollface from Series 2 on the series ball? Because some of our Series 2 favorites are coming back in bling versions.
Bling versions of Series 2 dolls have lots of tinsel glitter and different outfits but the same personalities. For example, Bling Dollface wears a reddish pink glittery two piece dress, while Series 2 Dollface wore a pink dress with white leopard print trim and shrug.
There is tinsel glitter on the dolls’ hair, eyes, accessories, and clothes. This glitter will come off on your hands a bit, but it won’t completely come off the doll so she will glitter for Christmases to come.
Dolls in the Bling Series are NOT the same dolls in the Glitter series or Glam Glitter series. They are bling versions of other Series 2 dolls (remember Series 2 had a ton of dolls.)

5. LOL Bling Series has 7 surprises.
Just like the Glitter series or Glam Glitter series, this series has 7 surprises.

6. There are no lil sisters in this series.
If your little one loves lil sisters, she’s out of luck with this series. There are no lils in this limited edition series. That’s okay, though…
The big sisters are so gorgeous and festive, they offer enough cuteness.
7. No cool unboxing.
We’ve been a bit spoiled by the cool unboxing experiences of Series 3 Confetti Pop and Series 4 Eye Spy Under Wraps. LOL Bling Series is keeping it simple, so there’s no cool unboxing.
Once your little one unwraps the ball, she’ll see that the ball has 2 halves: one clear and one light or dark pink. The ball easily opens to reveal decorative tissue paper with silver bling bags stuffed inside.
While this may seem like a letdown, it’s actually highly functional. LOL Bling Series balls are ornaments, remember? The ball only splits in half so you can easily put it back together. One half of the ball is clear so the doll can be put inside and hung back on the tree using the ball string. She’ll glimmer like tinsel and make your Christmas tree super fun and LOL-rific!
8. A small doll stand can be removed from the ornament.
What if your little one doesn’t want to keep her LOL doll inside the ball? She can use the small doll stand that separates from the ball!
We love the small doll stand because it allows LOL dolls to stand but doesn’t have the bulk of LOL balls. We have way too many (find out what we do with them instead of throwing them away). A small doll stand is way more practical.
Besides, you can have your little one decorate and fill the ball to hang it back on the tree like a real ornament.
