1. What are LOL OMG Remix Fashion Dolls?
LOL OMG Remix Fashion Dolls are the Barbie-like older sisters of the popular LOL tots dolls. OMG remix dolls follow the same theme of the LOL Remix series, so they are artists in different music genres. All the little details for a major recording artist (record, record player, and lots of fashion) are included with the dolls. Perfect for aspiring Beyonces!
Here are some details of the whole remix theme:
- OMG dolls in the series have a second outfit that is mix-matched with their BFF. You have to have both dolls to match the outfit correctly.
- They all sing a song together and you have one piece (and only those lyrics) if you buy one doll. You need all the dolls for the whole song.
- There are the standard 4 OMG remix dolls, a 2-pack of different dolls, a collectible doll, and the 4 OMG dolls included in Remix Super Surprise.
These big LOL dolls have maintained many of the details we love about regular LOL dolls, while introducing new and cool ideas into the LOL universe.
There are other OMG dolls in other series. So, if you don’t like these particular dolls, look for one of the other OMG series. If your little one is already into Barbie dolls, she will probably adore LOL OMG dolls. Otherwise, stick with the normal LOL dolls to ensure she plays with your latest purchase.

2. This series may not be appropriate for everyone.
OMG Remix dolls are very…uh…womanly. We applaud that these dolls have curves, but they may be too “severe” for some. Therefore, this series may not be appropriate for everyone.
If you’re ok with the bodies, sometimes the “fashion” can keep you from purchasing. Think fishnets, hot pants, and crop tops. Usually, OMG dolls come in very “racy” fashion. Fortunately, OMG Remix dolls are completely covered because they need to come with two outfits each. Take the opportunity to get all age-appropriate OMG dolls for your little one.
3. Big LOL dolls come in a mostly black box…
…not a ball,
…or a canister.
Yup, these guys actually come in mostly black boxes. The other color is an accent color based on the doll in the box. The box also functions as a record player, closet, and play backdrop so there’s a logic behind the design.
4. The doll on the package is the doll inside.
That’s right!
Unlike many other LOL dolls and toys, the doll on the package is the one that’s inside. You need to pay close attention to the LOL OMG Remix doll you’re buying to ensure you get the one your little one wants. After all, she may not check the picture on the package until AFTER she has unwrapped it (although this one is pretty hard to miss), then good luck returning it to the store.
The name of the doll is on the front bottom of the box and on the side of the box (like a book title).
One foolproof option is to buy LOL OMG Remix dolls on Amazon because there’s a separate listing for each one that makes it clear which one you are buying.

5. There’s a record inside!
Of course, a famous singer needs a hit record. Inside each box there is a record that your little one can play on the package because it functions as a record player. Super creative!
Be sure to keep the package for later so your little one can use it again and again.
6. There are 7 dolls in OMG Remix.
There are 4 regular dolls that are OMG Remix. Two dolls are also included in a 2-pack AND a special collectible OMG doll (more on this later).

7. Dolls are big sisters (or brother), not parents.
Just to clear up the confusion, LOL Surprise OMG Fashion Dolls are big sisters (or brother) to other LOL dolls, not parents.
Each OMG doll has been matched to a popular doll from another series:
- Pop B.B. is the older sister of 80s B.B. from series 4.
- Lonestar is the older sister of Line Dancer from series 1.
- Honeylicious goes with Honey Bun from series 2.
- Kitty K goes with Kitty Queen from series 2.
- Punk Grrrl is the older sister of Punk Boi from series 3.
- Rocker Boi goes with Rocker from series 1.
- Jukebox B.B. goes with The Queen from series 2.
Are LOL OMGs teenagers or in their 20s? Your guess is as good as ours.
8. The unboxing is totally different from any other series.
Patience is the key to unboxing LOL OMG big sisters for the first time.
Once your little one chooses her favorite doll, you’ve got to get it out of the box. With LOL OMG dolls the unboxing can be difficult because you need to do it in a certain order so that you can keep the box (it is a record player after all).

9. The surprise packaging is reusable and useful (finally).
If you were tired of throwing away all that LOL doll plastic and hoarding surprise balls…good news!
The packaging for LOL OMG Remix dolls is reusable and useful. Clothes come in paper garment bags (not plastic blind bags) with hangers that can be hung up again and again. You’ll also find shoes in a shoebox, and accessories in a box…not blind bags. If you unwrapped and opened the box carefully, your little one should be able to use it as a record player.
10. There are 25 surprises.
These are deluxe dolls, so of course, there are deluxe surprises. Here’s what your little one can expect to unbox. The contents vary slightly based on the styling of the doll.

11. Each doll comes with 2 outfits!
Yes, 2! Finally more real clothes for these cuties. OMG dolls in the series have a second outfit that is mix-matched with their BFF. You have to have both dolls to match the outfit correctly. Lonestar’s BFF is Honeylicious and Kitty K’s BFF is Pop B.B.
12. OMG Fashion dolls are about 10 inches tall.
Since they are like Bratz and Barbie dolls, LOL OMGs are about 10 inches tall (much taller than regular LOL tots). They are slightly shorter than Barbie dolls, which are 11.5 inches tall.
LOL OMG dolls have bendable arms and legs (knees). They will be stiff at first, but you have to click them a few times to warm them up. After the limbs are working properly, you will know they are fixed in place when you hear the click.
Because of the size difference, don’t count on OMG dolls using many of the standard LOL doll accessories. The only items we could get to fit are LOL tot doll purses.
Some Barbie clothes MAY fit OMGs. However, the OMGs tend to be curvier than Barbies, so have your little one try Barbie dresses and skirts.
13. The hands come off!
Yes, yes, yes! If your little one wants to have ANY success at taking the doll’s clothes on and off without ripping them, she will have to pull off the hands and slide the sleeves on.
It may seem weird at first, so do it a couple of times for her and explain why you’re GENTLY (not ripping) the doll’s hands off. The removable hands make dressing soooo much easier.

14. There are so many fun details.
MGA Entertainment really went to town on the LOL details. Hopefully, that means there’s a lot for your little one to discover and love about the dolls. Here’s what we found so far:
- Painted nails
- Each doll has detailed toes
- Surprises are packed where they should be (for example, shoes are in the shoe box)
- The shoebox looks like a real shoebox from the store and has the doll’s shoe size
- There is uniquely decorated tissue paper in the shoe and accessory boxes
- The magazine includes the doll’s lyrics from the song
15. Jukebox B.B. is special!
Jukebox B.B. is the 2020 collector edition LOL doll. That means she’s special and rare.
Pro Tip: If you want to keep her as a collector’s edition that may be worth some money one day, be sure to leave her in the original box UNOPENED.
Here are some cool details we love about Jukebox B.B.:
- She comes already dressed and assembled in a special box.
- There are sequins on her cape and rich goldtone all over her clothes.
- The doll stand lights up! The stand is actually the entire jukebox/stage beneath her. It lights up AND plays music when your little one inserts the included token.
16. There’s a music video!

These big sisters were released in September 2020. OMG Remix won’t be cool for long, so get them while you can.
If you’re hunting for them and it’s Christmas time, Amazon is your best bet. Be sure to check the listings for each individual doll.
How Much Do Remix OMG Fashion Dolls Cost?
The in-store retail price of regular LOL OMG dolls is $34.88.
Punk Grrrl and Rocker Boi cost more, usually about $49.99, because they are a 2-pack. While this may be expensive, it’s actually cheaper than buying each doll separately.
Jukebox B.B. also usually retails for around $50, but we have also seen her priced around the same as regular OMG dolls.
These have not been spotted in many stores, so be sure to check Amazon before you spend your time and gas getting to your local retailer. (You may be disappointed.)
