1. What does JK mean in LOL dolls?
The JK in J.K. dolls means Just Kidding. The makers of LOL dolls love to take popular acronyms or “text messaging speech” and put apply them to their dolls. After all, the LOL in LOL dolls stands for Little Outrageous Littles and the OMG in the Barbie-like series means Outrageous Millenial Girls.
So if JK stands for Just Kidding, how does it apply to the JK Mini Fashion Dolls? We think the JK/just kidding refers to the dolls’ heights. These cuties are wearing tall shoes that make you “think” they are tall. However, they are actually the same height as regular LOL tots. They kidded all of us with high shoes.
2. LOL JK dolls come in an aqua and white box…
…not a ball,
…or a canister.
Yup, these guys actually come in aqua and white boxes with other colors specific to the doll inside. The box also functions as a dressing room and closet, so there’s a logic behind the design. It is very similar to box LOL OMG dolls come in, just smaller
However…
Beware of fake LOL dolls. Be sure to check the green box you find carefully because it is much easier for counterfeiters to copy a box than a ball.
3. The doll on the package is the doll inside.
That’s right!
Unlike many other LOL dolls and toys, the doll on the package is the one that’s inside. You need to pay close attention to the LOL JK doll you’re buying to ensure you get the one your little one wants. After all, she may not check the picture on the package until AFTER she has unwrapped it, then good luck returning it to the store.
The name of the doll is on the front left side of the box and on the side of the box (like a book title).

4. The unboxing can be challenging…

The big thing about this series is the hair. While there are lots of surprises, we’ll let you decide whether they are as good as the surprises from other series. Accessories vary since they are unique to the style of the doll.

7. The surprise packaging is reusable and useful (finally).
If you were tired of throwing away all that LOL doll plastic and hoarding surprise balls…good news!
The packaging for LOL JK dolls is reusable and useful. Clothes come in paper garment bags (not plastic blind bags) with hangers that can be hung up again and again. You’ll also find shoes in a shoebox, and accessories in a box…not blind bags. If you unwrapped and opened the box carefully, your little one should be able to use it as a closet and dressing room for all the contents.
8. A great alternative to OMG dolls.
We like OMG dolls, but the bodies and fashion may not be appropriate for younger LOL doll lovers. LOL JK dolls are a PERFECT alternative. Your little one will get a regular-sized LOL tots doll with real hair and real clothes. These dolls and their accessories should last longer than the normal plastic ones. The JK series 1 dolls are the same as the OMG series dolls.
9. There are no boy LOL JK dolls.
If your little one doesn’t know about the differences between boys and girls yet, then this series is for you. There are no boys in the series, so there will be no surprises during the unboxing.
10. There are no LOL JK Lil Sisters.
LOL JK dolls that are available right now don’t have lil sisters. Perhaps they will come in a Lils series like in some of the other series.

MGA Entertainment really went to town on the LOL details. Hopefully, that means there’s a lot for your little one to discover and love about the dolls. Here’s what we found so far:

- The shoebox looks like a real shoebox from the store
- The shoebox has the doll’s shoe size
- The hatbox looks real
